The martial path

Hung Gar since 1987.

He began practicing Hung Gar kung fu and using Dit Da Jow in 1987 under Sifu Tony Lau at Ying Yee Kwoon. After entering advanced studies with Sifu Lau, he was given the martial name Jack Yee. The training joined deep stances, bridge work, breath, conditioning, forms, lion dance, and an uncompromising demand for presence.

His martial lineage descends through Sifu Lau from Chan Tai Hing, a student of Dong Fong, the celebrated disciple of Wong Fei Hung. Sifu Lau called Jack’s generation the Last Dragons—a name that carried both honor and responsibility.

The wider Hung Gar lineage is inherited. The Ying Yee Kwoon Dit Da Jow heritage practice presented here begins with Jack Yee: a documented Founder’s Batch and keeper’s method intended to be carried forward responsibly.
